The nose is Posche-ish, and the balance &#8211; isn&#8217;t.<br \/>\nIt did have a Chevy V-8 in the middle, driving a 3-speed transmission. It had the old Corvair\/Tempest swing-axle rear suspension. The radiator was in the nose, breathing out the hood vents.<br \/>\nThat engine setup had too many problems, so I replaced it with something a bit more modern. Its new engine and trans are an almost-modern setup from the front of a 1987 Olds Delta 88. That is, a transverse 3.8 V-6 with four-speed automatic transmission.
