Selection Criteria

When selecting a CAD or NC programming system, trade-offs include:
Cost of the software license
Ease of learning (this is affected by what the user knows already)
Ease of use, productivity (just ’cause it’s easy to learn doesn’t mean it’s fast to use)
Can you find people who already know how to use it?
Will it work directly with whatever systems you have now?
etc…
